UnitedHealthcare Medical Plans

Invited employees may select from one of the three available UnitedHealthcare medical plans.

The Choice Plus Plan and the High Deductible

Your medical plan options include two comprehensive medical plans. Each plan:

Offers different benefit levels
Offers network and out-of-network coverage
Offers you the opportunity to choose Tier 1 doctors and facilities which may offer the greatest value from your health care benefits
Includes access to a UnitedHealthcare national provider network

Flex Work Benefit Guide

Healthy Start Limited Medical Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) plan

If you see the doctor occasionally — for an annual checkup or minor illnesses — this third plan option may work well for you.

A lower cost option, this plan offers network coverage only through the UnitedHealthcare Choice provider network
Meets health reform requirements — no pre-existing condition exclusions, no annual or lifetime dollar limits and $0 copayments for preventive services
Covers a number of Essential Health Benefits, subject to certain limits* — the plan does not provide comprehensive major medical coverage
