Effective May 1,2023, Northeast Georgia Health System (hospitals, facilities, and physicians) is out of network for UnitedHealthcare and SHBP members enrolled in the HMO or High Deductible Health Plan despite our many attempts to negotiate in good faith. To ensure you and your family have access to care you need while our negotiations with Northeast Georgia Health System continue, we want to provide you with additional information related to Continuity of Care and alternate in network facilities and physicians. Note that emergency care at Northeast Georgia Health System will continue to be covered at your network benefit level. Contact your dedicated advocate at 1-888-364-6352 for assistance in locating an in network provider and to answer your questions. You may also search for in-network providers using the UnitedHealthcare® mobile app.
On Jan. 1, 2023, the self-help app, Sanvello®, transitioned to Self Care by AbleTo®. Self Care includes many of the same features and benefits as the Sanvello app and members will still have access at no cost.
Existing users of the Premium version of Sanvello may continue to use it throughout their annual subscription were be invited to transition to Self Care by AbleTo beginning in January 2023, or at the renewal of their annual subscription.
