Wherever you are on your health journey, our health plans include all kinds of wellness programs and health services designed to support you.

Weight-loss surgery support

Get ongoing support before and after weight-loss surgery from a dedicated team of nurses. Our Bariatric Resource Services program offers educational resources, surgery preparation assistance and continued support to help you succeed.

Mental health support

Calm Health is available through your benefits plan at no additional cost to you. This means you’ll have access to the widely recognized mental well-being Calm app, which offers resources for sleep, meditation and mindfulness With 24/7 access to digital content, you can set your own pace on the path toward a healthier you as you get help with information to meet goals like better sleep, building skills to manage stress, developing resiliency and start building a mindfulness habit.

Calm Health is not available to UnitedHealthcare E&I Fully Insured customers/members in District of Columbia, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.

Guided cancer support

With Cancer Resources Services, you’ll have access to experienced cancer nurses who can provide guidance and support to you and your family during your cancer journey. They’ll help you understand your diagnosis, share information that you help you make more informed decisions about your care and find emotional support for you and your family members.

Coping with cancer

A cancer diagnosis can bring on a range of emotions and concerns. Providing specialized cancer care management, our Cancer Support Program connects you to a team of highly rated physicians, providers, personal care nurses, and advocates. They’ll help you understand your diagnosis, monitor your medications and treatment plans, provide access to social workers for financial, transportation, and childcare needs, and more.

Access top care facilities

If you have a special condition, our Centers of Excellence (COE) network provides help finding a doctor and medical center as well as help with understanding your illness. COEs are intended to complement local hospital and physician care by helping you get access to care.

The Centers of Excellence (COE) program providers and medical centers are independent contractors who render care and treatment to health plan members. The COE program does not provide direct health care services or practice medicine, and the COE providers and medical centers are solely responsible for medical judgments and related treatments. The COE program is not liable for any act or omission, including negligence, committed by any independent contracted health care professional or medical center.

Help for kidney disease

If you’ve been diagnosed with kidney disease, the Comprehensive Kidney Solution program will connect you with experienced nurses who can help you learn how to manage the disease. They will also work with your doctor, dialysis centers and others on your care team.

Fertility support

Fertility Solutions offers expert support and resources to help you learn about and explore options for expanding your family. You can schedule a call with a fertility nurse, search for fertility Centers of Excellence, and access 24/7 online educational resources.

Fertility Solutions program should not be used for emergency or urgent care needs. In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. The information provided through this program is for information only. It is provided as part of your health benefit plan. Program nurses and other representatives cannot diagnose problems or suggest treatment. This program is not a substitute for your doctor’s care. Building healthier habits

Real Appeal® is a lifestyle program designed to help you build healthier habits and lose weight. It focuses on helping you take small steps that may have long-term results, and it provides support for key areas such as nutrition, fitness, motivation and change. It includes group coaching sessions, 24/7 access to videos, tools to track your progress and more.

Real Appeal® is a voluntary weight management program that is offered to eligible members at no additional cost as part of their benefit plan. With Transplant Resources Services, you’ll have access to support throughout your care. In addition to being connected with experienced nurses who will help coordinate care with your doctors, you’ll have access to travel and lodging assistance as well as expert clinical support to help inform you on treatment plan options.
