The COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenging time for all. UnitedHealthcare is grateful for the patience and understanding as everyone navigated this unprecedented situation. With the number of COVID-19 cases declining, and vaccination rates increasing, the public health emergency ended May 11, 2023.
Effective June 1, 2023, SHBP will end the member cost share waiver benefit for over-the-counter COVID19 tests, telehealth and virtual visits services that was implemented during the Public Health Emergency due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
