Find a network doctor

The doctors and facilities in our network have agreed to provide services at a discount, which may help lower your health care costs. And where you go for care can make a difference. Tier 1 providers* include doctors, specialists and health care facilities that are recognized for value in health care delivery.

That's why searching for network providers and looking for the Tier 1 symbol when choosing a provider makes good sense.

Network coverage

Network coverage plays a big part in delivering you cost savings and quality care. With the network, you'll have access to a group of health care providers and facilities that have a contract with UnitedHealthcare.Finding providers in the network is easy when you use Provider Search.

Stay in the network  To help save on costs, choose care and services from within our network.

Spot the Tier 1 dot

You may pay less for care when you choose Tier 1 doctors and facilities because they offer the greatest value from your health care benefits.

Primary care provider

With this plan, you'll need to select a primary care physician (PCP) for yourself and each covered member. Your PCP is your health guide - coordinating your care, helping you avoid cost surprises and supporting you in achieving your best health.

It's easy to find and choose a network PCP—to get started, go to Provider Search. If you end up not picking a PCP by the deadline, one will be selected for you—but know that you can always change your PCP anytime at myuhc.com.

The UnitedHealth Premium® designation program is a resource for informational purposes only. Designations are displayed in UnitedHealthcare online physician directories at myuhc.com®. You should always visit myuhc.com for the most current information. Premium designations are a guide to choosing a physician and may be used as one of many factors you consider when choosing a physician. If you already have a physician, you may also wish to confer with him or her for advice on selecting other physicians. You should also discuss designations with a physician before choosing him or her. Physician evaluations have a risk of error and should not be the sole basis for selecting a physician.
